Do you ever wonder if your ship has sailed? Or if your dream will ever come true? Do you have any hope left that your shattered dream could ever be put back together? If you’re a mom who’s put her career on hold so you could help fulfill the needs of your littles, or if you’re a young woman longing for a family for whom you wish to MAKE sacrifices, or if you’re a student who feels lost with no rudder directing your ship, you’ll want to hear this interview. Today, we have with us, a close friend of the fam- Gordon Kennedy.
And no matter what Blair tells you- I was Gordon’s friend first! Actually, I was friends with his brother, Bryan first, who introduced me to Gordon and his gorgeous, ageless wife, Tracey. This was WAAAAY before BDB (Big Dumb Blair) ever met any of the Kennedys.
We talk about the influence Gordon’s grandmother had on him as a young boy and all through young adulthood, till she passed from life to LIFE. He encourages us to trust God when we can’t see the way, doing the next right thing when it doesn’t make sense and how the music business is just like any other business- in that relationships are KEY.
You’ll get to hear our cute announcer read our last review (after this one, we’re fresh out- so if you’ve been meaning to write one, get in there!) You’ll also hear Gordon’s contagious laugh through the interview and in the outtakes :-). If that don’t put a smile on your face, I don’t know what will!
If you’d like to leave a review, go to your podcast app and search for “heylove” like you’ve never even been here before. Click on the big square logo on the bottom and iTunes will take you from there. Thank you kindly for doing that! We love hearing about your favorite episode.
