I’m talking really fast on this episode because…coffee. I’m so not a coffee drinker and my system was in shock, I’m sure, but I really needed coffee. Today, I will share with you a funny story about the title of last week’s episode (“Brown People Do Hospitality Better”) which has NOTHING to do with today’s episode but I feel you need to hear it. :-0)
You ALSO need to hear from Callan Kreidel- she has a story of healing that is absolutely redemptive and lovely.
First of all, just so you know, she is doing much better these days. in fact, she just told me she started a full time job with a marketing agency and is loving every second of it. We talk about the importance of community, family, feelings; (although Chip Dodd may not agree with what she says about there only being one positive feeling on his list. :-0)
She also touches on how God can channel certain hard personality traits for good, on faith and obedience to God…and trusting His Goodness, even when you don’t know where He’s leading you.
As we’re talking, you’ll hear birds singing their song of hope all through… and it seems so appropriate. Also, you will see what makes their mother/daughter relationship a very special one.
To read Callan’s work, go subscribe to her blog. Read the post called “The New Me.” It’s SO good! Check out her facebook page. Also, a small army of friends have rallied around her with Callan Can, a gofundme campaign that helped her family with medical expenses. I remember riding through her neighborhood shortly after I heard she was home, praying for her on my way to school and there were these pink signs all over lining the streets “Callan Can” -made me cry. :-0)
She’s also got a great instagram page @callanscreations and @callankreidel – she’s a great artist as well as writer so this girl is worthy of a follow, trust me. You’ll want to keep your eye on her bc she is destined to do great things for God. Or as my coach reminds me…. “a woman of a Great God who will do great things through her.” Yeah. That’s more like it. :-0)
If you enjoyed this episode, pls share it with a friend? And if you’d like to leave a review, I love sharing those on the air. and thank you for that! That’s my ask for the day.
