Hey Love, we’re getting back to some girly girl interviews! (I know you’re excited!) Today, I offer thanks to all who were part of the small army I had praying for my hubby last week at the inauguration, I reflect on the unity I saw as I watched the ceremonies from the comfort of my home in my pj’s, & I express my appreciation for this country we call America.
(It’s been brought to my attention that my shownotes are getting cut off for some reason- to view the full show description, please go to the website- http://karthimasters.com/
I will interview a woman who has a smile that can launch a thousand ships, Paige Stroup is my guest today and she recalls fondly memories from childhood which helped shape her character and fuel the flame for her ministry to women. She’s the Director of Women and Community at my church and she has a permagrin that makes everyone feel a little lighter in their step.
I share my love for toe headed children (like Paige’s) and wonder aloud where that term comes from. Do you know? We touch on a personality quiz I put together (if you’d like to take it, let me know; send me a message on facebook or instagram and I’ll send it to you.)
Paige discusses how getting baptized is like a wedding reception- which is SO timely because today, I’m going to tell you what we’ve been planning for our 25th anniversary. (and you’re invited!)
We’ll talk about how having a hard conversation can bring deeper intimacy in a relationship. I also read a portion of Isaiah 43 over you in hopes that you will feel encouraged and empowered to move toward the one who hurt you rather than isolating your self or building a self protective wall around your heart.
Here are some live out love links for ya:
Paige’s charity of choice is https://donations.rafikifoundation.org/step1.aspx?varid=234&amt=25 where her sister Brittany serves in Liberia.
