Today, I’m excited to introduce you to one of my pastors and my friend- Eric Hoffman. In this post Christmas offering, I thought it’d be good for us to focus on a gift so special, that Jesus told His disciples it was actually better for them that He go so the Gift can come…. In Eric’s words, Jesus saved the best for last…
Eric tells us how the Holy Spirit changed him dramatically from the inside out and how that subsequently changed everything about his relationships with God, himself and other people. Eric started compiling these lessons in small nuggets; basically he’s been playing the role of “curator” so others can benefit from everything he’s learned and applied. He’s been piloting this compilation locally for 5 years and as soon as his work gets published, we’ll have him back on the show and let you know how to get your hands on it so you can start a group in your church!
To hear his spot-on beatbox trumpet, 🙂 listen to the outtakes at the very end. Through the interview, you’ll hear the massive heating unit kick on and off to regulate the temperature in our church building.
I share a major “Commando Marie Condo Fail” at the top of this episode- just because it’s fun to laugh at myself and I think it’s important for soulcare! 🙂 Sweet redemption is also found therein. If you have an embarassing or funny story you’d like to share, please message me on Facebook and I may just read it here on the show!
The Tim Keller sermon I quote in the intro is called “A Spirit Hath Not Flesh and Bone” and can be found here; http://bit.ly/2hzhwZD
Till next time,
