So glad to be back in the groove after our cruise. I’ll share a couple of the highlights today. Well, here we are in Season 4! Got some great interviews in the vault and can’t wait to get my hands on them in the editing room (which also serves as my dining table. :-0)
In this episode, I talk about some married couples who folded me into their lives when I was single and how that gave me a glimpse of what a God centered marriage is all about. They also taught me the beauty of being inclusive; and not just hanging with people like me.
My guests today are the epitome of inclusive… they are Chris and Jan Harris- aka known as “Rodeo and Juliet.” This duo is not just a favorite among Nashvillians and Texans; it’s an institution.
Chris and Jan have an adorable way of finishing each other’s sentences as they talk about Mexican food, trail angels, how to be open to the Spirit of God as He leads you and connects you to others, losses that led them to have an eternal perspective all through life and a modern day miracle that saved their son’s life.
They are passionate about their message “Don’t do life alone.” and they exude a peace that is palpable. The pastor they quote is Don Finto from Belmont Church in Nashville and they took his counsel to heart.
After watching some Rodeo and Juliet videos, don’t be surprised if your cheeks are sore from the permagrin on your face! (This is a common occurrence and there’s no need to seek medical care.) Also- be forewarned- you may find yourself suffering from an uncontrollable hankering for chile rellenos after this conversation.
Got a lot of links for you today- naturally, we talk a lot about music with these music people….. Follow Rodeo and Juliet everywhere there are hashtags so you know when their project is out! “Adventures of Rodeo and Juliet.” It’s gonna be GOOD!!!
