Hey Love,

Stewarding well the gifts given you can be a challenge….especially if your identity is based on
your performance rather than on who Christ is in you.

My friend Tanya Hembree, will tell us today, how she was transformed from being a competitor
into a servant. Tanya has been dabbling in design since she was a wee little child; now, she’s
one of the top designers in the Nashville area, creating beautiful spaces for a slightly more
sophisticated clientele.

She says that God is the One who not only deposits  gifts in us, but He’s also the One who
allows us to experience wilderness seasons and restores us onto the right path to His Best Yes.
We’ll discuss the connection between your contentment level and the intimacy you’re
experiencing in your relationships.

As you listen to this conversation, you’ll see that leaning into your best Yes                             (https://lysaterkeurst.com/the-best-yes/) closely resembles some of the themes found in the book Boundaries    by Henry Cloud and John Townsend. (http://www.boundariesbooks.com/)                                                                     If you haven’t read these classics yet, both have timeless principles to live by.

I will share a bit more about some struggles and victories I’ve been experiencing with my health
as well as some of my frustrations as an Enneagram 4.

We will be taking a break this summer so I can start my new Lyme treatments in June. So only 2
more episodes left of season 4!  And since my little visit to the ER and subsequent meeting with
a Lyme specialist in DC, we’ve bumped our upload day to Friday- it’s totally thrown me for a
loop and I get all my days mixed up now. Quit messing with my head, People!! :-0)

If you enjoyed this episode, please share it with a friend. Or leave a review telling us about your
favorite one. And keep in touch with me; I’m on instagram @heylovepodcast. And on facebook
too…. Or email me heylovepodcast@gmail.com

Come on back next Friday; we’ll talk about friendship with an old friend of mine— Christine
Dente – remember the duo “Out of the Grey?” She’ll be here.. that’s next week and you won’t want to miss it!

Till next time,
Bye Love!

What’s Your Limp?

Offering a soul hammock for you, the reflective American woman, as you move to the steady rhythm of God’s unfailing grace, as you navigate your RELATIONSHIPS & heal from past hurts. Any sort of hurt, habit or hangup can cause a “limp” which affects our RELATIONSHIPS with our Maker, with others and with our selves.

What does your limp look like? Mine looks like Lyme (and codependency too.) Here on this show, we’ll have honest conversations about how to courageously cultivate real community & find relational restoration, even with our respective limps.
