Know what happens when your soul experiences true “one anothering*?” The CREATIVE in you grows wings and begins to soar!
With one foot rooted in an ancient culture, I’ve spent my life studying how women do relationships in different parts of the world- I believe we have much to learn about “one-anothering” from other countries in the way of INTERDEPENDENCE- especially in times of crisis.
Could this be a key to unlocking the abundant life that Jesus promises us in John 10:10?
My small family immigrated to New York City when I was 5 years old from the Motherland -that was back in 1968! Fast forward to 2016, when I started hosting a podcast centered on communicating effectively to build life giving, interdependent relationships- like I saw my Aunties enjoying in India.
From there, I sort of fell into LIFE COACHING, and SCREENWRITING – each of which, has been a feast for my soul. We talk about ALL the same things in both worlds; transformation, empathy, EQ (self awareness & feely type stuff. :-0)
I’m excited to be training with Professional Christian Coaching Institute, on track for certification late next year. (I do my assignments early, as any good Indian girl would do! :-0)
Until I’m certified, I’m happy to offer “fair trade” coaching packages to anyone in this community (Desi or otherwise) because nothing thrills me more than having a front row seat as God transforms a woman’s heart before my eyes.
As I’m writing my tv pilot, I want you to join me on the journey. Is it any good? Will it get picked up? Will we ever get to see it on tv? I have no idea- but I want to nurture the creative in you as we’re venturing out together, so you can write a better story too.

*One-anothering is a term used by one of my dear coach mentors- Pam Mertz.
Who Am I?
I’m a wife, mom of 2, in recovery from codependency, some inexplicable autoimmune issues & hanging on to a few vices-including, but not limited to, ginger masala chai and watching the wind.
I feel you need to know that I’m absolutely WILD about storms-the darker and windier, the better! And I am, without a doubt, the LEAST techy person you know….It’s the irony of ironies that I’ve been producing a podcast for 5 years.
Back in the day, when I was working with high school students through the 1980’s, and teaching drama to elementary kids through the 1990’s, I was often told I was a born listener, which i didn’t really appreciate till my fifties. :-0) Since then, I’ve learned that listening is a superpower!
So much of what I’m learning in my screenwriting and coaching courses overlap. We talk about the same things in both worlds; story, empathy, listening, connection, leadership, forgiveness, redemption, feelings, surrender, communication..
And it all comes together in the show….My hope is that this podcast will be sort of a soul hammock for you as you go about your day and seek the Spirit on how to write a better story for your life.
We hear true stories and talk with creatives of all types, about Kingdom building through a biblical, Gospel centered lens.

The Listening Well is a safe place where Coach (yours truly) comes alongside Coachee (that’s YOU :-0) to explore what the Father has in store for your life.
How often do you get time to talk about you? When’s the last time you had someone in your corner to focus on your hopes and dreams? (Listening is what I am made to do!)
We’re equals in this, like two beggars asking the Baker for bread. Together, we’ll seek the “abundant life” Jesus promises you in John 10:10.
How Does Coaching Differ From Counseling?
Whereas counseling may delve into your past, coaches help you cast a vision for your future. In counseling, they’re the “expert.” In coaching, you’re the expert, because who knows you better than YOU?
The two – Coaching and Counseling- work beautifully together and I, for one, have employed both a counselor and a coach simultaneously for 3 years.
